What do you think about weeding? Does it cause you physical pain to think of tossing out a book? Does it feel cathartic to get the old stuff outta there?

Love weeding, HATE getting rid of books. I want to have a little non-profit that tries places unwanted/weeded books in new "homes". There are two carts of weeded "professional" books left for teachers to go through at the school where I intern. They are disappearing at a pretty good rate, but I am seeing that there are many that will not find a new home, and my imaginary "non-profit" wouldn't be able to find a home for them. They will probably be put in the recycle bin somewhere at some point.
