MCTC Library is running trials of several databases. They are listed and described at the top of the complete database list on the library home page, and some are also listed under appropriate subject categories.
Our current trials:
· Academic Search Complete which includes all content from Academic Search Premier plus additional sources, many of which are international. We question the value of this database considering the annual cost, so your feedback is greatly desired.
· Blackwell Encyclopedia of Sociology
· Blackwell’s International Encyclopedia of Revolution and Protest
· Ebrary Academic Complete which offers fulltext of over 40,000 ebooks. We are testing this ebook software; if we decide to use this software, our collection of ebrary books will be MUCH smaller than this collection, so use it as much as you can before the end of the trial.
· PsychARTICLES offers access to fulltext of many major journals in psychology
· Newsbank Access World News
