This week, MCTC is being visited by our national accrediting body, the Higher Learning Commission, and this is a Big Deal. This is what lets us grant credentials that have some meaning in the world of education. You may have noticed an announcement about this on the campus web site.I have the good fortune(?) to be on a couple of campus committees that lead me to be involved with the team here to review our accreditation materials, and today I have two meetings with the accreditation team. So, that means that I am spending very little time in my office today, and a good part of this week has been spent getting some last minute items together for said meetings.
